Volunteering

The Library has a small collection of unique volunteer opportunities. To be eligible to volunteer, we ask you to complete our application form, within the program you are interested in. Please note the library does not support court appointed community service.

Reusable Bag

Homebound Delivery

This is our books to your door program, for those individuals who are home bound and can not visit the library. 

​

Requires: Current drivers license and a vehicle. Ability to lift 5 lbs., and to walk some short distances.

​

Open to adults ONLY!

Cleaning Products

Cleaning Crew

The library is looking for some help in doing simple cleaning chores, such as sanitizing children's toys and computers, cleaning windows, picking up litter and other such chores.

​

Requires: ability to follow directions, attention to detail, bending and stretching.

​

Open to teens ONLY!

Available on Wednesdays from 4-5 only. This activity will earn 1 hour of community service.

Gardening

Gardening Club

The library is looking for help maintaining our library gardens. This includes: watering, weed pulling, planting, triming, pick up and other such tasks.

​

Requires: ability to lift at least 2 lbs., bending, squating, use of tools, etc.

​

Open to individuals all ages!

​

Note: if you are a teen looking for community service hours - this activity will earn hours based on how much time you work.

Open Book

Book Review

The library is looking to build its blog page, with a collection of book reviews from our patrons. Reviews can be negative or positive, we just ask that they be your own work, and considerate of others. The library reserves the right to moderate all reviews and to refuse or accept reviews at will.

Requires: completion of book review form. 

​

Open to individuals of all ages.

​

Note: if you are teen looking for community service hours - this activity will earn 2 hours per review.
